Graduation is a week away! I find this time to be very exciting, but also sad. The students that I have gotten to know through the school year will leave to enter their professional careers or begin another academic career, and I will miss seeing them every day.
But for now, let's celebrate their academic achievements here at MAC! Decorating your cap is fun and easy. To begin, grab some supplies. I picked up my supplies at the Dollar General Store. My basket contained construction paper, sparkle-pipe cleaners, sparkle paper, glue and a black poster paper.
- Grab your cap, a pencil, the black poster paper.
- Place your cap flat on the poster paper and trace it and cut it out.
- Once you have cut your poster paper, line the poster paper and the cap up. Place a finger or make a mark with your pencil on where the button is.
- From the corner of the poster paper, cut the poster paper to the button and cut the button out. Don't worry if your cut isn't perfect, you can cover it with your design!
- Create!
I am using black poster paper to blend into the cap and to help add support to my design. I have also gone online to help me create my designs. Don't forget to share your designs with us!
